Who you are buying from. Products on this site are sold by Oniro Consulting L.L.C-FZ, registered in the United Arab Emirates, trading as Life Abroad with James. Payment is processed by Polar, who act as merchant of record and handle sales tax and VAT.

What you are buying. A digital publication, delivered as a PDF download. There is no physical product and nothing will be posted to you.

Delivery. The download link is sent to the email address you give at checkout, immediately after payment. If it does not arrive within fifteen minutes, check your spam folder and then email hello@lifeabroadwithjames.com

Free updates. Buyers of an edition receive subsequent editions of the same title at no charge, sent to the email address used at purchase. This is a commitment for as long as the title continues to be published, and is not a subscription you are billed for.

Refunds. If the book is not what you expected, email hello@lifeabroadwithjames.com within 30 days and I will refund you in full. You do not need to explain why.

What this is not. Everything published here is general information about what governments have published. It is not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice, and no relationship of adviser and client is created by buying it. Rules and figures change without notice. Before acting on anything, verify it against the relevant government's own current guidance and take advice from a suitably qualified professional in the relevant country.

Accuracy. Every figure is sourced to a government publication and the sources are listed in the product. No guarantee is given that a figure remains current at the time you read it, and no liability is accepted for decisions taken on the basis of the content.

Copyright. The content is protected by copyright. You may print and keep a copy for your own use. You may not resell, republish, or distribute it.

What is collected. If you subscribe, your email address and, if you give it, your first name. If you buy, the details you enter at checkout. If you browse, standard analytics about pages visited.

Why. To send you the guide and the newsletter, to deliver anything you buy, and to understand which pages are useful.

Who processes it. Email is handled by beehiiv. Payments are handled by Polar and their payment processor. The website is hosted by its platform provider. Each of these holds data under their own privacy terms.

What is never done with it. Your address is not sold, rented, or passed to any third party for their marketing. No relocation company, agent, developer or adviser is given your details.

How long it is kept. Until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing hello@lifeabroadwithjames.com

Cookies. This site uses only what is necessary to run it and to count visits. No advertising cookies and no cross site tracking.
